weigh-in wednesday: week 9 results

yay...i followed through with my goal last week, which was to do one hour of cardio each day [[minus sunday]]....and i did just that! :o) Somedays i went to the gym and did an hour of walking on the treadmill {which totally gets tiring!}...one day i did a 5K race and walked that...and one day i walked a mile long trail, which was totally hard! {{pictures to come of those events}} I am also trying to hit 10, 000 steps in a day and the days that i wore my bodybugg i exceeded that goal! It felt good! So all of my hard work paid off. Although i know if i would have written/tracked my food down better i could have lost even more, oh well!! So next week i hope to finally break the 50's and get down to the 40's!!! But this week i lost 2.6 lbs!

Here are my stats for the week-

SW: 260.8 lbs
CW: 250.6 lbs
TWL: 10.2 lbs [about a lb. a week]

And i am not sure what i want my goal for this week to be. I will come up with one and post it later on :o)

weigh-in wednesday: week 8 results

wow...this past week was not a good one. i didn't follow through with my weekly goal of tracking everything that i ate. but somehow i lost an undeserving 1 pound! haha. i'll take it...but i know that i have to do better this week! because i want to feel good and deserving of my weight loss...and make healthier lifestyle choices overall!

Last night me, lauren, matt, jonni and our friend cameron went to a Dodger game. It was really fun and we actually got alot of walking in :o)


and then this morning i went to the gym and walked on the treadmill for an hour at a brisk pace. it felt GREAT! :o) i wanted to start wearing my bodybugg again today because i am going to try and walk 10,000 steps in a day [[and i want to see how many calories i am burning]], but it was dead from not wearing it for so long...so at this moment it is being re-charged. so hopefully that will get me moving a little more too!

so here are T's stats for the week-

SW: 260.8 lbs
CW: 253.0 lbs
TWL: 7.8 lbs

My goal for this week is to get 1 hour of cardio in a day [[minus sunday]] totally achievable!

Determination is key

...like J's new necklace. You must always keep it close to your heart and never forget it...or else you will be locked out of your house. OR in this simile, fat forever!! hahaha.
So, we are DETERMINED to lose weight for good! :) To help us lose this weight we are determined to blog every day, and keep weight loss in our minds. We are determined to accomplish our short/long term goals! (post on that coming soon) We are determined to exercise more. We are determined to help motivate eachother. And we are determined to look goooood...and get those hot boys we are dreamin' about! ;)

weigh-in wednesday: week 7 results

I was pretty proud of myself this past week. I tracked all of my food except saturday night and sunday (and i didn't completely stick to my ww points, but that's ok!) and it paid off! :o) i LOST this week! woohoo!

SW: 260.8 lbs
CW: 254.0 lbs
TWL: 6.8 lbs [[almost a pound a week...i'll take it!]]

It really does make you feel proud when you accomplish something and stick to the goal that you had in mind! :o) The only bad thing is that for the past 2 days i HAVEN'T been tracking (eeek :/ ) how can you do so good one week and then just fall the next? maybe because i actually saw a loss and felt like i didn't need to work as hard...even though i know that i need to, completely! So, my goal this week, again, is going to be TRACK EVERYTHING DOWN! [[i know i can!]] I want to master journaling my food before i move on to anything else...because i feel like it is the most important. So here's to a successful week! :o)

weigh-in wednesday: week 6 results


Yup...definitely how i felt weighing in at Weight Watchers yesterday. BUT, it made me really think about what i want! ...and that is to succeed and be healthy!

I am going to do something i never thought i would do...and that is to actually post my weight on here! (eek!!!) I have always hated telling people my weight, but my friend jon was in town (and as a side note he has lost over 70 pounds!!! he looks amazing!) and he told me that the only way he felt accountable was by telling all his students his weight and posting it on the board each week. i think that when you know people know how much you weigh you want to lose it even more!! so hopefully that will be my case and it will work for me, because i have been slacking! :o)

So my starting weight on weight watchers was...
SW: 260.8 lbs (yikes!)
and my current weight is...
CW: 256.6 lbs
for a total weight loss of...
TWL: 4.2 lbs

the week before i had lost a total of 8.0 lbs, but with jon and ally in town i lost control. i seriously ate whatever the heck i wanted (and took seconds and thirds. haha) and gained 3.8 lbs this week. (so sad) My WW leader asked me some questions and told me to only think of this week as a learning experience and to take something from it. i think what i learned was that even though i got off track i shouldn't have had the attitutde of "well i know i am going to gain weight and i've already done bad...so i might as well eat this ice cream." i could have just started over and done better the next day.

Also last night i watched "Losing It With Jillian". i LOVE that show!! To me she is so inspiring and really knows how to help out people and their families. if only i could have her visiting our family for a week! :o) it is SO amazing to see these families transformations in just 6-8 weeks. it gives me hope that i can do it too! ...and i know i can...it is just going to take some doing on my part!

So i want all you chubby followers to keep me accountable!! :o) This week my goal is to track EVERYTHING i eat! ...i know that by doing that i will see a big weight loss on the scale next week!
